Veterinary Nurse / Practice Manager
Meg joined our nursing team after completing her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing through Tafe Queensland in 2020. Meg has enjoyed taking on administrative tasks, as well as her nursing role, over the years and this year we're excited to see her step up to her new role of Practice Manager.
Meg has a special interest in animal behavioural science and training, making puppy pre-school training one of the highlights of her job! Meg also has a fur baby of her own, a little cat named Buddy.
Maggie graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology from UQ in 2019 and since then has been working in general practice. Maggie has had a passion for helping animals as long as she can remember and has always known she wanted a career in the veterinary industry. Maggie claims she doesn't have a preferred area of interest, she considers herself more of an all-rounder, although if she had to pick she said she would choose medicine/hospital nursing. At home Maggie has an adorable cocker spaniel named Flora and two cats - a domestic shorthair named Clancy and a Ragdoll X named Betty.
Outside of work you can find Maggie taking Flora on big walks, spending time with loved ones, reading or decorating her new house.
